The bed was surprisingly comfortable for a budget place, letting me catch some Zs after a long day. The shower was solid, providing good pressure and a decent stream, which was a pleasant surprise.
The thin walls were a nightmare. I could hear everything from the adjacent rooms. There was no air-conditioning, and the room got stuffy quick with the windows open. The mosquitoes were having a field day. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, and I found someone else's bar of soap still hanging around. The pillows were worn out and lacking support, contributing to a less-than-ideal night's rest. Not to mention, the restaurant was closed when I needed it the most, leaving no proper options for dinner. Plus, I stepped in some dog mess while making my way in-definitely not the warm welcome I was looking for.

fasthotel dunkerque has a good location, very close to the dunkirk ferry terminal. the late check-in option was handy, and the room was nice with a small desk and bedside tables. i also enjoyed the strong wifi connection, which was important during my stay.

The location was pure braw, right near the port and motorway! The restaurant was a letdown though, closed on Saturday night, leaving us with no drink options. The room was tidy and comfy, just a wee bit dated. Would stay again if the food situation gets fixed.

Room had a private bathroom with a good shower. Flat-screen TV, body soap, and free toiletries were provided. Comfy beds with hypoallergenic and non-feather pillows. Heating worked great, and the wardrobe was spacious. Quick access to main routes. Breakfast looked great, with fresh croissants and a nice dining area.

The location is fantastic for ferry access, and the secure parking offers peace of mind, especially with the gate lock at night. The communication before arrival was excellent, ensuring a smooth check-in process. the room lacked basic amenities, such as air-conditioning, leading to discomfort during the night. The breakfast area wasn’t open during my early departure, limiting options for a quick start to the day. it felt more like a budget stopover than a restful stay.
